My passion for piano began at a young age, sparked when my grandmother gave us a keyboard. I would turn on my video games, then rush to the keyboard to figure out the music by ear instead of actually playing the game. I vividly remember learning the end credits music from The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and the opening to a mission in Halo 3. When I started at the University of Colorado Denver in 2021, my love for the piano was reignited and quickly became a central focus in my life again. Today, most of the writing I do for my music projects starts on a keyboard, and I find great joy in continually learning new pieces on the piano.

Since August 2023, I’ve been dedicated to sharing my love for piano through customized lessons. Whether you're a beginner or seeking to enhance your skills, my lessons are designed to support your unique musical journey. With a flexible, student-centered approach, you’ll learn at your own pace while discovering the joy of playing. I teach across a range of styles, from classical and jazz to pop and beyond, allowing you to explore the music that inspires you.

A strong foundation is essential for becoming a versatile pianist. That’s why my lessons go beyond just playing the notes—I focus on building a deep understanding of music theory, sight-reading, and ear training. Mastering these core skills empowers you to play with greater expression and creativity, whether you’re composing, accompanying, or simply enjoying the music.
